Bungie has had enough of Guardians cheesing its Trials PVP mode in Destiny 2 and has shut Trials of Osiris down until it can be fixed. The indefinite disabling of Trials of Osiris was revealed in the This Week at Bungie blog post on March 4, 2021.
Why did Bungie get rid of trials?
Bungie has temporarily removed Trials of Osiris from Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen due to an issue with win-trading. The brutal-yet-satisfying (when not faced with cheaters) PvP event has always been hit or miss with players, but now its a miss for all players because it has been removed from the game entirely.

Trials Passages - Passages can be used throughout a Trials weekend and can be Reset at any time. - Only one Passage can be purchased at a time, but players can switch them out when new ones unlock.
What light level should I be for trials?
In order to even be eligible for the Trials, players must visit Saint-14 in the Tower Hanger so he can check your light level. The minimum level for Trials is 960, so those who havent reached that level will not be allowed to participate.
